This bird park has an area of around 2 hectares which is home to around 1,000 birds from 250 different bird species not only from Indonesia but also from other regions such as Africa, Latin America and Australia. Apart from birds, here you can also see various types of tropical plants, numbering approximately 2,000 species. This bird park also functions to protect and preserve Indonesia’s endangered wildlife. It has succeeded in breeding various types of birds, including the rare Pesquet Parrot and the Bali Jalak (Balinese starling). This place is indeed a paradise for bird lovers.

Apart from fauna attractions, you can also enjoy a relaxed open restaurant while enjoying a menu ranging from local to international cuisine. If you’re looking for dessert after lunch, stop by Rainforest Café for a refreshing tropical juice or delicious homemade ice cream. Bali Bird Park is the only bird park in Bali. The collection is quite complete, the place is also very shady. The Bali Starling is one of the collections in this place, it is a rare type of bird that is also bred. Every day, this place is busy with tourists.

Bali Bird Park and Reptile Park tourism is not only a breeding place for various types of birds, but also various other animals such as Komodo dragons, snakes, lizards, iguanas, and many more.

Traveling here will make you feel like you are in the natural habitat of the various types of birds that exist in this place.

Other activities that you can enjoy are taking photos with birds, watching parrots flying back and forth, and watching 4-D theater performances.

Animal Collection at Bali Bird Park Gianyar

Bali Bird Park is well designed and organized, there are paths that visitors can follow to look around the collection of birds here.

Some of the collections of birds that you can find include golden jungle chickens, blue peacocks, white peacocks, pergam bodas, parrots, as well as several types such as buffon macaws, severa macaws, blue gold macaws, scarlet macaws, byacin macaws, and green darling macaws.

There is also a collection of rare birds such as gray parrots, crimson wing parakeets, Bido snake eagles, Javanese eagles, cassowaries and golden junai.

Furthermore, there is also a collection of Bali starlings which are starting to become rare. There is also a collection of birds of paradise, African starlings, bondols, long-tailed wydahs, king muskrats, yellow-striped lorikeets, king parrots, Javan parrots, hornbills, parrots, and many other collections of rare birds.

Visitors can also enter the giant bird cage and mingle with the birds inside. Of course it will be a special, memorable experience on your tour.

For those of you who love reptiles, you can also visit the Reptile Jungle which is still in one area.

You can find various types of reptiles in this place, from crocodiles, lizards, snakes, turtles, Komodo dragons, to iguanas. Some reptiles are tame and can be used to take photos with.
