Green Bowl Beach

Green Bowl Beach Bali, one of the best white sand beaches in the southern part of the island of Bali with a hidden beach location. The main attraction is the turquoise color of the sea water.
Another Name For This Beach
This beach is better known by local residents as Bali Cliff Beach. because previously on this beach cliff there was a hotel called Bali Cliff. This beach is also called Hidden Beach Ungasan because it is located close to Ungasan Village and is not as popular as other white sand beaches in Bali.
The Reason Is This Beach
The word “Green Bowl” in Indonesian means “Green Bowl”. It is named so because when the water recedes, bowl-shaped coral covered with green moss begins to appear. Apart from that, when viewed from the top of the cliff, the beach view resembles a green bowl.
If you have ever been on holiday to Pandawa Beach, you will definitely find similarities with this beach, both in the texture of the sand and the panorama, because these two beaches are close to each other. However, Green Bowl Beach has a coastline that is not as long as Pandawa Beach.
On the west side there is a popular white sand beach tourist spot, namely Melasti Beach.
Why is this beach empty of visitors?
Minimnya pengunjung ke Pantai Green Bowl Ungasan ini karena lokasinya yang cukup jauh dari pusat wisata Bali Selatan. Many people are also reluctant to go down and climb the stairs to the beach.
If you are on holiday at Pandawa Beach, Bali, the distance between the parking lot and the beach is very close and flat. This is very different from Green Bowl Ungasan Beach, where you have to go down 326 steps from the main road to reach the beach. Imagine having to go back to the parking lot by climbing 326 steps! Can you imagine how tired you are? This is one of the reasons why Green Bowl Beach Ungasan rarely has visitors.
To reach this beach is a little difficult and you have to prepare enough stamina to climb down hundreds of stairs to reach the beach. However, the feeling of tiredness after walking will be paid off if you reach the beach area which is still very natural, clean and has white sand.
Every tourist who vacations in Bali has their own criteria in choosing a location to stay. However, most tourists prefer to stay at one of the hotels in tourist areas in southern Bali, such as Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, Sanur, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Tanjung Benoa, Uluwatu, and Ungasan.
Paragliding
Apart from enjoying the view and taking photos, visitors can do other activities, such as Paragliding. To try this activity, visitors must visit Nyang-Nyang Hill which is located not far from Pandawa Beach

Entering the Gunung Payung Beach area requires a relatively cheap entrance fee of around IDR 10 thousand per person.
